- Appeals and applications for enhancement of sentences and conventions
- Filing and defending civil suits against Government and public servants.
- Advice to department on all legal matters including interpretation of laws, rules and orders having the force of law.
- Government Law Officers, Public Prosecutors, Government Pleaders, Special Counsel, Appointment, transfer, leave fees, etc
- Matters relating to legal practitioners, including scale of fees.
- Civil Law and Procedures.
- Advocate General.
